A maximum of 24 CE credit hours are available for the Keystone Veterinary Conference.
It is the individual’s responsibility to maintain and submit CE records as required. Attendees are encouraged to consult their state licensing board for specific allowances and any restrictions on the number of hours accepted for specialty and practice management sessions.
It is your responsibility to maintain the records of the sessions you attended, in addition to the event CE certificate that will be provided to you at the conclusion of the event. PVMA does not maintain or provide a list of the sessions you attended unless requested by the state in the event of an audit on your continuing education hours.
For specific CE session tracking, must record all sessions you attended. A CE Tracker will be provided in the on-site printed program, we strongly encourage you to utilize the program for tracking purposes. If you check in for each session using the Whova app, an email confirmation will be sent to you, keep this for your records.
After the completion of the Conference, your Certificate of Completion will be available at the PVMA Registration Desk. Anyone registered as a Student will not receive a CE Certificate.
If you need your CE certificate from one of our events in 2024, please email events@pavma.org.
All registered attendees will have access to the 2025 proceeding notes through a GoogleDocs link, which will be available via email before the conference. Note: speakers are not required to provide proceeding notes, all notes will be posted on the link as they become available.
PVMA will not have printed copies of the proceeding notes available on-site at the conference. If you prefer printed copies, we encourage you to print them before arriving on-site.
The Keystone Veterinary Conference is a preapproved provider of CE by the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Licensing Board, and nearly all other state veterinary boards accept the approval for their own state CE approval. We are not RACE accredited.
Yes, PVMA utilizes a mobile app named, Whova, to help manage all of your on-site needs. From the mobile app you can navigate the sessions, access speaker bios, view the list of exhibitors and use the interactive chat boards to ask questions and connect with fellow attendees.
All registered attendees will receive an email the week prior to the conference with the instructions for how to download to app. Included in the email will be the required access code in order to complete the download process. Please be sure to check the email for the passcode.
We strongly encourage all attendees to download and open the app before you arrive on-site. Note, the email used to register for the event, will be the username for the app download.
A printed program and limited number of speaker bios will be available on-site at the registration desk.
The Whova app will be available for viewing for 90 days following the conference.
Access to the exhibit hall is included with your registration fee. Please be sure to wear your name badge at all times when in the exhibit hall and allow exhibitors to scan the QR code on your name badge so they can collect your name and contact information.

We recommend business casual attire as this is a professional meeting environment with education and networking opportunities. Room temperatures may vary, so we encourage you to dress in layers.

A Session Moderator is essentially a speaker’s assistant. They introduce the speakers of their selected sessions using an introduction prepared by the PVMA staff and, make conference announcements (information provided by staff) and in the event of a problem, assist in locating appropriate staff to resolve A/V equipment or room issues. In addition, they are asked to count the number of guests in the room so we have an accurate count on the number of attendees per session.
Volunteers are asked to moderate for a morning (8 to 11:30 a.m.) or afternoon block of sessions (1:00 to 4:30 p.m.).
You may sign up online when registering for the event, there is a box to click to let us know you are interested in serving as a moderator. You can also email us at events@pavma.org to let us know you will serve as a moderator.
Moderators must be a full conference registered attendee; we are unable to accept guests to serve as moderators.
*Important! If you sign up to be a moderator, please let us know if your plans have changed and you are not interested in serving. It is important to have a moderator in each room so we need to know if you are unable to fulfill the responsibilities.
The moderator kit, including speaker introductions and conference announcements, will be available in the meeting room. The documents will be on a clipboard, located on the last table in the room. It is your responsibility to locate the clipboard as soon as you arrive in the room and identify yourself to the speaker.
At the conclusion of your moderating block, please return all completed forms to the PVMA registration desk.
Moderators are paid $15 per hour with the strict stipulation that all forms be signed and completed. We will not provide renumeration if the attendee forms are not completed and signed. Payment will be mailed within 30 days after the conclusion of the conference.
