Basic Dentistry and Periodontal WETLAB

Friday, August 16
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

This dental lab focuses on the foundational skills involved in canine/feline dentistry: client education of dental procedures; probing, scaling, and proper equipment utilization; care and maintenance of dental equipment; application of regional nerve blocks; and when and how to perform root planning and sub-gingival curettage. Dental charting and usage of abbreviations will be discussed.
All registered attendees will have a cadaver to work on and learn new techniques. Attendees must attend the entire session.

Refund Policy: A written refund request must be received no later than July 20, 2024 in order to receive a full refund. Refund requests received after July 20, 2024 will receive a 50% refund. Refunds will NOT be given after August 12, 2024. Email events@pavma.org. 

Hands-On Labs & Special Events: Refunds will not be granted for specialty programs after August 1, 2024.
